white sands

In the south of New Mexico lies a pure white desert of gypsum. The constant wind coming from the west shapes and molds the dunes, creating graceful arcs and curves in the sand.

In daylight, the sand glares brilliant white under the hot sun, but around sunrise and sunset the sand becomes transformed, taking on a beautiful array of colours; pinks, blues and purples.

Between the delicate shapes of the dunes, and the magical way they respond to the light, White Sands is an awe inspiring place to walk through.
